ALASKA BOTANICAL GARDEN GALA “Fireweed Flutes delighted the guests dining outdoors at the Alaska Botanical Garden last Thursday evening during our Midsummer Gala in the Garden! UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA-FAIRBANKS “Thank you and the fireweed Flutes so much for a wonderful job on Saturday. I’ve heard nothing but wonderful comments! I’ll definitely be recommending you for any future events UAF may have in Anchorage.” -Megan Damario (Director, Annual Giving UAF)
ALASKA RAILROAD The Communications Officer, Stephenie Wheeler: “Fireweed Flutes offered a touch of classy magic to the Alaska Railroad’s 2014 Spring Open House Event. We located the group near the middle of our static passenger train, and as folks explored the train, the sweet flute sounds drew them through the railcars in fun “Pied Piper” fashion. The Fireweed Flutes group was absolutely a welcome addition to our Railroad Days community event. BRAVO!”
CHRISTMAS BANQUET AND SERVICE “We invited Fireweed Flutes to play at our Christmas Banquet and then again for Christmas Eve Service for our Church. MAGICAL! That’s the best word to describe the stage set by their playing. Comments ranged from “Where did you find them?” - “It was spellbinding taking in their performance!” to “What amazing musical expression!”
